Steam Whistle Brewing – Friday January 25, 2008
We had another amazing edition of Unsigned down at the Roundhouse on a frosty Friday night, January 25th 2008. The crew from OPOPO opened the evening up with a Dj set to warm the crowd up from their winter chills, dropping live remixes and some floor shaking beats. We Are The Take stepped up to the stage and quickly grabbed the crowd with their tight, catchy hooks. Grand Analog jumped up next and rocked out a set of their infectious dub-rap-reggae-rock complete with crowd call and response and charismatic MC Odario Williams’ soulful rhymes. By the time Major Maker stepped up, the room was electric with anticipation. As they tore through a high energy set of their catchy indie rock. OPOPO closed out the night and kept the dance floor bumping until the lights came up!
